Education: Univ. of Chile, Univ. of Saskatchewan
Received Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Univ. of Chile in 1979 and a DVM from Western College of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM) Univ. of Saskatchewan in 1991. She practiced small animal medicine in Chile for 7 years prior to immigrating to Canada.
She is a former member of the following committees: U. of R. Senate for the Saskatchewan Veterinary Medical Association (SVMA), Pet Food Certification Program of the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA), Veterinary Technology Advisory Committee in SIAST, and has been a member of the Western Drug Distribution Center Board of Directors, Professional Conduct Committee of the SVMA, and the Population Control Committee of the Regina Humane Society for the Regina Academy of Small Animal Practitioners (now the Regina Association of Veterinarians). She is currently on the board of directors for Prairie Diagnostic Services (PDS) and serves as the President of the Regina Association of Veterinarians.
