Veterinarian
A graduate of the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014, Dr. Jen Johnston joined our 24 HR veterinary team in late 2022.
Dr. Johnston grew up with a general interest in a number of medical fields, however during her years in high school she came to realize through the medical and surgical needs of her own pets that veterinarians have the incredible opportunity to cover many (if not all) areas of care.
One of her passions is improving accessibility of veterinary services across the province and as such, Dr. Johnston has participated in a number of rural and remote spay/neuter clinics with hopes of continuing to do so in the future.
Outside of work life Dr. Johnston enjoys relaxing with a good book or spending time with family, but she is most often found keeping active! She loves walking or running with her 3 large dogs: Duke, Sloane and Kendal as well as going to the gym and doing yoga.
