Dr. Maria Just

Veterinarian

Education: Univ. of Chile, Univ. of Saskatchewan

Dr. Just received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Univ. of Chile in 1979 and a DVM from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM) Univ. of Saskatchewan in 1991. She practiced small animal medicine in Chile for 7 years prior to immigrating to Canada.

Dr. Just is a former member of the following committees: U. of R. Senate for the Saskatchewan Veterinary Medical Association (SVMA), Pet Food Certification Program of the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA), Veterinary Technology Advisory Committee in SIAST, the Western Drug Distribution Center Board of Directors for 6 years,  the Prairie Diagnostic Services (PDS) Board of Directors for 5 years, the Professional Conduct Committee of the SVMA, as well as the Population Control Committee of the Regina Humane Society for the Regina Academy of Small Animal Practitioners (now the Regina Association of Veterinarians). She is also the former president of the Regina Association of Veterinarians.  Currently, as an SVMA representative, Dr. Just is a member of the interviewing committee for WCVM applicants and attends 2 large veterinary conferences annually.
