Jude, who grew up in Cork, Ireland, joined our team in late 2017.

Jude’s interest in the veterinary field was piqued when she first got her own dog.  The young pup was terrified of everything and as any good owner would do, Jude took it upon herself to learn as much as she could to help her girl cope.  This, in turn, got her interested in veterinary nursing.

In 2011, Jude graduated from the Veterinary Nursing program of St. John’s Central College in Cork.  Jude has also obtained unique training in hospital care, anesthetic and surgery for reptiles, fish and wildlife.  Today she remains active with the United Kingdom’s veterinary governing body, the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.

When asked what she enjoys most about her field of work, Jude states that it is helping animals, but enjoys surgical cases as well.

In her spare time Jude enjoys reading and walking her senior lab/collie mix, Millie, who traveled with her and her husband from the United Kingdom.
