Assistant
Mike joined our assistant team in the late spring of 2021.
Mike has always enjoyed animals and helping others. A career in veterinary medicine was solidified for him when his own dog was attacked and he felt helpless to come to its aid. Ultimately, Mike’s end goal is to become an emergency care veterinarian.
In his current role with our team Mike is fond of the dynamic and unique-ness of the cases we see every day as well as the interactions with our animal patients & his awesome colleagues.
Fun Fact: Mike has a Bachelor of Science with Honours from the University of Regina. His honors program involved intensive research with microbes and bumblebees!
When not on duty Mike can be found spending time with his significant other and friends, or reading, fishing and hiking. He has a Bulldog named Chuck!
